SMS Terms & Conditions

Message types, consent, frequency, rates, and opt-out choices.

Last updated: November 4, 2026.

Soriano Med communications program

These terms describe the Soriano Med SMS program operated by Soriano Physician Services PLLC dba Soriano Med, 1264 US Highway 1, Suite 105, Rockledge, FL 32955. This website does not automatically enroll you in SMS messages.

Message types and frequency

With the appropriate consent, informational messages may include appointment confirmations, reminders and changes, check-in instructions, practice closures, administrative follow-up, and alerts to review a secure portal message. Messages should avoid detailed medical information. Payment or billing messages require their own approved workflow and must not rely on an exemption limited to non-billing healthcare messages.

Message frequency varies with your appointments and requests. The frequency disclosed when you enroll controls any specific campaign limit. Promotional messages, such as optional newsletters, new programs, or special offers, require a separate affirmative enrollment and any consent or HIPAA authorization required by law; they are not bundled with care reminders.

Consent and your choices

Consent must be obtained and documented through an approved opt-in process that identifies Soriano Med, the message types, and applicable terms before messages begin. Simply viewing this website, booking a visit, or providing a phone number does not by itself enroll you in promotional texts. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase, treatment, or access to care. Where automated technology is used, the opt-in must disclose it and obtain the consent required for that message category.

You confirm that you are authorized to use the number you provide. Notify the practice when your number changes or is reassigned. You may request telephone, mail, or secure portal communications instead, and may request confidential communications. Declining optional messages does not waive patient rights.

STOP, HELP, and revoking consent

Reply STOP to stop texts from the sending program. Other clear requests to stop, including reasonable requests made by phone or email, will also be accepted. Reply HELP for assistance, or call 321-877-0007 or email [email protected]. We may send one non-promotional confirmation of an opt-out as permitted by law. We will honor opt-outs promptly within the applicable legal deadline; any healthcare exemption requiring immediate opt-out will be handled immediately.

Opting out may stop automated reminders and other messages within the scope of your request. You can still obtain care and use approved alternative communication channels. To rejoin, contact the practice and complete a new, documented opt-in.

Rates, delivery, and privacy

Message and data rates may apply. Check your wireless plan. Messages may be delayed, misdirected, or undelivered; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service availability depends on your carrier and device. SMS is not a guaranteed confidential channel: messages may appear on a lock screen, a shared device, or carrier systems. Do not text medical emergencies, detailed health information, passwords, or payment-card data.

Use the Privia patient portal for personal medical questions. Messages are not monitored continuously. For an emergency, call 911. Review our Privacy Policy and HIPAA notice. Mobile information and opt-in consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotions; service providers may process them solely to operate messaging, or as required by law.

Email, calls, and program changes

SMS enrollment is separate from email subscriptions and other permissions. Commercial emails will identify the sender and include a working unsubscribe method and postal address where required. Use the unsubscribe link or contact us to stop promotional email. Routine care communications follow the applicable consent, privacy requirements, and your reasonable communication preferences. New uses requiring consent will not be authorized solely by changing these terms.
